Coordinator Connect

Expressions of Gratitude: As a R/ED Coordinator, you are deeply engaged in the tireless work to bring awareness around issues of disparity and push reform/efforts that bring fairness and balance to a youth justice system that often falls short of such. We thank you for your work and aim to make this website be a meaningful tool you employ on this journey for equity and fairness.

This website is specific to only R/ED Coordinators and their respective managers not for the public.

Coordinator Connect Submission

This website will be used to foster an interactive, thriving, and resourceful community of support. In doing so, we are giving Coordinators the ability to share resources and/or information with colleagues in this position. As such, please use the button below to submit your items (i.e. research articles, toolkits, etc) into the portal.

CRR/ED staff will receive and post the information in the requisite section on the Coordinator’s Connect webpage.

R/ED Coordinator Resources

In this section, you’ll find orientation materials for new coordinators and for more senior Coordinators as well. In this section, you will find new resources being posted regularly to include but not limited to toolkits, video, research/journal articles, etc. We highly encourage coordinators to help curate this space with information and resources you’ve found useful and/or interesting. To submit resources/information use the link above (and here).

Please note that in compiling these materials, we’ve worked diligently to gather the most up-to-date and impactful and useful resources. However, as language continues to evolve and the OJJDP-preferred lexicon regarding Title II Grants and R/ED Strategic Plans shifts, some materials may use slightly different terminology.

OJJDP R/ED Guidelines

You can find the most current OJJDP R/ED Plan Definitions and Coordinator Guides below.

OJJDP FY24 Title II Formula Grants Program Guidelines and Solicitation

Please see below for links to the OJJDP FY24 Title II Formula Grants Program Guidelines and Solicitation Files, as well as the OJJDP FY 2024 Title II Compliance Data Submission and R/ED Plans.

You can find the link to the full solicitation here. OJJDP is hosting a number of webinars, office hours, and resources to aid applicants. You can find a partial list of these resources here.

In addition, in an effort to support R/ED Coordinators with the development of the R/ED plans for the Title II Formula Grants Solicitation, the Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities will be hosting two office hour sessions.

These sessions will serve as an opportunity for coordinators to Drop In and Ask Questions about their plans in advance of the submission date. Staff from OJJDP and CRR/ED will be on hand to address all questions and offer support as you finalize your submissions. Registration is required and can be done by clicking on the links below.

Addressing Racial and Ethnic Disparities: A Peer Resource Guide

Created by the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, this document aims to serve as a resource for new R/ED Coordinators and was crafted by experienced R/ED coordinators across the country. It is organized in three main parts: (I) Why We Do the Work, (II) What We Do, and (II) and How We Do It. A reading list and links to key resources are also included as appendices to this report.

R/ED Strategic Plans by State

Compiled here are the publicly available three-year R/ED plans produced by each State. This section creates a learning/sharing opportunity between coordinators that can support development and maintenance of robust and effective plans.

If your plan is not displayed, please reach out to CRR/ED project staff here and provide your most recent approved plan for posting.
